Our Admissions Process includes several components intended to assist families in making the decision for Christian education. At every step along the way, we are available to answer questions and connect you with teachers and other staff members.
Component 1: Application for Admissions & Registration Fee
Students: If there is availability in the class for your child, then complete the online application that is available on each campus page. This application provides information about your child, your family, emergency contacts, your personal statement of faith, student/parent pledge of excellence, and parent questionnaire.
St. Amant: We are requiring the application to be completed online via Gradelink. While completing the application, new students will need to pay the $300 registration fee, and current students (you can use your current Gradelink login) will need to pay the $150 re-enrollment fee. You can use either credit card or your checking account to pay online. In order to reserve your child’s place at TCA, the registration fee must be paid.
Baton Rouge: We are requiring the application to be completed online via RenWeb. A non-refundable fee of $25 must be submitted with each application. While completing the application, new students will need to pay the $300 registration fee, and current students (CLA Students or Transfer TCA St. Amant students) will need to pay the $150 re-enrollment fee. You can use either credit card or your checking account to pay online. In order to reserve your child’s place at TCA, the registration fee must be paid.
Livingston: Please fill out this form to pay your $300 registration fee and print the paper application. You can scan and email the completed application to Kelli Brock at Kelli.Brock@TCA.FM.
Component 2: Pastoral Recommendation Form
Please fill out the top portion of the Pastoral Recommendation Form and ask your pastor to complete the bottom portion. All students are required to complete this form each year. An explanation of the Pastoral Recommendation Form can be found on the form once you click on the button below. When it is complete, you can bring it to your TCA office or your church may either mail or fax it directly to the office of The Church Academy campus of your choice.
Component 3: Interview
Schedule an interview with the administrative assistant by calling the office of your campus of interest. Only one parent will need to be present and for 6th through 12th grade, students will also need to be present. The online application, registration fee, and pastoral recommendation form must be completed before an interview will be scheduled.
Component 4: Documentation
For grades 1-12, please provide the most recent standardized test scores available to you along with your student’s most recent report cards. For all grades, please provide a copy of an up-to-date immunization record, birth certificate, and social security card at the time of the interview.
